Amir Amor

Having fallen in love with London's pirate radio culture, Amir Amor learned to make beats at a youth music project in Camden. He went on to make mixtapes with BRIT winning rapper Plan B, and in 2009 opened Major Tom's, his east London studio.

Within two years, The Guardian had featured him among the next generation of young producers, and NME had named him one of the "20 hottest producers in music right now", alongside Mark Ronson. It was at Major Tom's that he co-produced "Feel the Love", the track that launched Rudimental. It debuted at number one, giving Asylum Records its first number one single in its 41 year history.

As a writer and producer in the group, he helped make Rudimental one of the UK's biggest bands and a live act that headlined festivals across six continents, the band The Guardian said you "won't be able to escape from at festivals". Known for nurturing talent, he helped launch the careers of John Newman, Ella Eyre, Becky Hill and MNEK through his music.

As part of Rudimental he co-founded Wild Life Festival with Disclosure and Black Butter Records. It sold out its first year with 35,000 fans a day and was named Best New Festival at the 2015 UK Festival Awards, and he continued the Major Tom's legacy by signing multi platinum pop star Anne-Marie.

His range runs wide: he co-produced UK indie legends Kaiser Chiefs alongside his collaborator Nile Rodgers, has written for Ed Sheeran, and has worked with George Clinton of P-Funk, Bobby Womack and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan.
